I have been working in many industries including complex systems, large scale consumer electronics, satellite modules, industrial programable logic controllers (PLCs) and its expansion modules, telemetry and IoT acquisition systems using cellular mobile network, GPS trackers for trucks, handheld battery powered devices, load monitoring system for offshore cranes, medical equipment, and banking ATMs.  I'm familiar with technologies such as Wi-Fi, GSM/3G/4G, GPS, Bluetooth, RFID, RS-232, RS-485, I2C, SPI, CAN, USB, PCIe, SpaceWire, Ethernet, EtherCAT, common industry microcontrollers and processors, FPGAs, DDR memories, switched mode power supplies and battery chargers.

Skills to deliver end-to-end development:

  • Specification of design requirements and hardware architecture definition; 

  • Schematic capture and multilayer PCB layout - Altium/Pads/Eagle;

  • PCB design respecting mechanical, RF, high speed and EMI/EMC constraints.

  • Design for Manufacture (DfM), Design for Test (DfT), and Design for Reliability (DfR);

  • Integration between Electronics-CAD (E-CAD) and Mechanical-CAD (M-CAD) - Solidworks;

  • Analog and digital simulation - SPICE, Modelsim;

  • Firmware programming for embedded systems - C/C++, FreeRTOS;

  • FPGA development - VHDL;

  • Automated test scripts - Python;

  • Prototype assembly and troubleshooting;

  • Product tests for performance, EMI/EMC, ESD, surge, vibration, temperature and humidity; 

  • High quality design documentation.

Electronics Engineer and Embedded Systems M.Sc. with 16 years of experience designing electronic products to meet system requirements, reliability, fair cost and ensuring product performance and market competitiveness. I have the flexibility to collaborate in diverse environments: from startups to multinational companies, distributed teams, and overseas partners.  


I'm completely passionate about the product development cycle, turning prototypes into mass production products, and improving quality, cost and time to market. 


I perform comfortably in end-to-end development, starting from requirements definition and high-level architectural modeling, following by SPICE/digital simulation, schematic capture, PCB layout, firmware programming, mechanical integration and finalizing with fabrication documents, prototype assembly, tests and troubleshooting regarding to integration, performance, and EMC/EMI. I execute technical team management and support the supply, manufacturing, quality, marketing, and sales departments as well.
